I’ve been nominated with blogging awards for the second time now.
I feel a bit weird about it to be honest, I’ve never liked this kind of stuff. But I’m open to new things and I gave it a try. It didn’t hurt. It was actually a pleasant experience. I’ve discovered some more interesting blogs and people behind them and learned something new about me.
I’m glad that some people recognized my blogging as something useful as well. Besides, it’s really nice to meet new people all around the world after being isolated for a while.
Special thanks go to Mark, who nominated me.
His blog is full of interesting insights and advice about OCD. He always finds some inspiring words that can be useful to anyone, not just people with OCD.
Again, thank you dear readers for stopping by. You all motivate me to write some more.
My answers to Mark’s questions:
What is your favorite book & why?
I don’t have a favorite book. I love books so much, that I can’t pick up just one. It wouldn’t be fair to other great books I’ve read.
Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging in 2006, because I had severe insomnia. This gave me plenty of extra time to do something and blogging became quite popular that year. My brain is always looking for new stuff, so I gave it a try.
What one-sentence bit of advice would you give to your 13-year-old self?
Don’t believe everything you think.
Who is one person that inspires you and why?
My grandmother. She is really smart, kind and tough woman with the brain of a 20 year old. Her brain is a masterpiece (sometimes I wonder where have these genes gone). She was also a marathon runner and all around sportswoman for a very long time.
Name a country you’d love to visit!
This is a tough one, because I’m not much of a traveler. I would probably want to visit countries where I could take some pictures of aurora.
1. What is your best memory you’ve ever made?
2. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in life so far?
3. What makes you feel alive, not just existing?
