  • Empathy and compassion
  • Expressing emotions
  • Failing
  • Improving yourself
  • Kindness

  • You are open to feedback and seek help if needed
  • You forgive yourself
  • You know how to set up healthy boundaries with other people
  • You take action in maintaining your health
  • You are willing to walk outside your comfort zone

  1. That list is spot on. If people don’t respect you sticking by your principles they’re not right for you. Even if you struggle in some areas on that list (we all do) don’t panic.

I was going to say something about ‘toxic masculinity’; specific point being the idea that ‘being silent is being strong’ the ‘seeking help=weak’. Had a browse through recent posts and saw this one. Judging by some of the other posts it’s likely that these attitudes might (I could be wrong) have played a part in the other mental health issues talked about.

Anyway, I think the things you’ve identified should be acknowledged & taken in mind, even if some of those items are works in progress or are taking time, we should be working on the. You’re absolutely spot on.
